Apart from a few staples I know about, I wanted to see what the area truly had to offerβ turns out, thereβs a lot. If I missed a local favorite or just one you feel is worth including, let me know. Meet The Candidates Battling for Pos. 5 on The School Board
Cypress is gearing up to fill some board seats this November, and with three positions available (5,6, and 7), there are 9 candidates total in the elections. Today, weβre focusing on position 5, which is currently held by Dr. Natalie Blasingame, who is seeking election to a different seat. On the ballot for this open position are Terrance Edmond, Lesley Guilmart, and Radele Walker.
One is a business leader and former CFISD student turned educator.
Another is a career educator and nonprofit leader with deep ties to the district.
The third is a retired administrator with decades of service in CFISD classrooms and schools.
Together, they represent three very different pathways to leadershipβbut all with the same goal: shaping the future of Cy-Fair ISD. [Read My Article Here.]

Truly a proud moment as a publisher. If you didnβt know, The Daily Mail is a large publication with rich ties in the UK; however, they are expanding their arm further into the US, and they wanted to do a short write-up about Cypress and the community. (Given the growth lately.) Now, keep in mind, I have articles published in Forbes, USA Today, and more, but never did I think Iβd be asked to contribute to a story about my community.

Let this be proof, when you take my surveysβ I listen. I have been meaning to write more of these, but after 60 of my new subscribers (this week) requested more about live music, I had to make some time. Let me know if Iβm missing any, happy to add more!

Trader Joeβs is Near Completion. Some are thinking it will open sooner than expectedβ¦
The announcement of the new Cypress Trader Joeβs dropped earlier in July, and everyone is getting excited (including me). I have heard nothing but good things, but I have never been inside one. Well, for the $900,000 cost to build, Iβm ready to see what all of the fuss is about. Opening day is set for December 1st, but with the construction seemingly done, this may be sooner.
