The latest data shows the median price of a newly built home is actually over $30K less than an existing one. Thatβs because builders are adjusting prices and offering serious incentives to move inventory. Itβs also because builders have been focusing on smaller homes lately.
If price was the reason you ruled out new construction, it might be time for another look.

Towne Lake is Getting a Massive Self-Storage
Almost 86,000 sqft and $6.1 million in estimated cost, this behemoth (did I spell that right lol) is set to break ground on October 1st, with a finish timeline of 7/13/26. It will go behind the Kroger off of Tuckerton, complete with an elevator.
Venterra is Building a Massive $50MM Apartment Complex
This will be Venterra Realtyβs third complex in Cypress, with a $50 million build-out, 13 stories (how does that climb work?), detached garages, and (get this) a car wash. Where?
