Venterra Unveils Plans for $50M, 13-Story Luxury Apartment Tower on Spring Cypress Road
According to registration permits on August 11th, 2025 from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Venterra Realty is set to make a bold mark on the Cypress skyline with its newest project: Venterra Spring Cypress Apartments—a $50 million, 13-story luxury multifamily community bringing 384 apartment homes to one of northwest Harris County’s most in-demand areas.
The high-rise development will be located at 16614 Spring Cypress Road, just east of Telge, down the road from Cypress Woods High School, and is slated to break ground on January 1, 2026, with completion targeted for November 30, 2027.

High-End Living Meets Prime Location
Spanning 427,443 square feet, Venterra Spring Cypress Apartments will feature:
Detached garages and covered carports
On-site car wash station
A standalone clubhouse with resident amenities
Thoughtfully designed floor plans for modern living
This privately funded project sits on private land and is designed exclusively for residential use, further signaling Venterra’s long-term confidence in Cypress’s rental housing demand.
Venterra’s Third Cypress Community

The development marks Venterra’s third project in the Cypress area, following the 2016 acquisition of Coles Crossing Apartments and the 2022 launch of Highpark, a 336-unit community on Cypress Plaza Parkway.
Launching in a Booming Rental Market
Venterra’s latest investment comes as Houston’s rental market is hitting record highs. According to the Houston Association of Realtors’ June 2025 Rental Market Update, MLS added a record 7,117 new rental listings last month, up 12.7% year-over-year, while single-family home leases jumped 5.2%.
“What we're seeing in the rental sector really ties into the overall strength of Houston's housing market,” said Shae Cottar, HAR Chair and realtor with LPT Realty. “We expect leasing activity to remain strong in the coming months, especially with continued demand from people relocating or exploring flexible housing options.”
A Proven Player in Multifamily Development
Headquartered in Houston and Toronto, Venterra Realty develops, acquires, and manages nearly 90 apartment and mixed-use communities across the southern United States. Its portfolio exceeds $5.5 billion in assets, housing more than 50,000 residents.
Why This Project Matters for Cypress
With average lease prices climbing and inventory at all-time highs, northwest Harris County has become a focal point for multifamily investment. The Venterra Spring Cypress Apartments will not only bring much-needed housing options but also serve as a landmark residential tower in a traditionally low-rise area.
Construction updates and leasing information will be shared as the project progresses. Stay connected with Cypress Digest for exclusive coverage of Venterra Spring Cypress Apartments and other major real estate developments shaping the region.
