Happy Friday, Cypress! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ²

Monday is Memorial Day, a day to honor the men and women who gave their lives serving this country. πŸ™ Remember at 3:00 PM local time on Memorial Day, there's a National Moment of Remembrance, one minute of silence observed across the entire country to honor the fallen. Genuinely beautiful tradition, and one that I didn’t truly learn about until later in life.

There's also a flag rule most of us don't know, flags fly at half-staff until noon, then are raised to full staff for the rest of the day. The symbolism is incredible: we mourn in the morning, then rise in their honor.

So this weekend, enjoy time with your family, fire up the grill, soak up the long weekend, but at 3pm Monday, let's pause together. It's the very least we can do to remember the fallen and to think about the families who are missing a loved one this weekend. For them, this is so much more than holiday. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
