Good Morning Cypress! Happy to see warmer weather grace our city again. I don’t know about you but as soon as Valentine’s is over, it can take winter right out with it. It’s almost March which means spring break, crawfish, and yes The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! Let’s get into it.

Cy Springs High School Senior Earns All-American Status

Congratulations to Ayla McDowell from CySprings High School on being selected as one of 4 McDonald’s All-Americans. She will have the honor of representing her school on the girls’ West Coast team on April 1 in Brooklyn, New York.

Bridgeland GoHealth Urgent Care is Now Open

One of the many businesses set to open in Bridgeland Central is now up and ready to go. Memorial Hermann- GoHealth is located in the Village Green Center (That’s right in front of the new H-E-B). This new center will provide convenient, high-quality care for non-life-threatening conditions, sports physicals, flu shots, and more.

Wendy’s and the Girl Scouts are collaborating for a whole new take on cookie season — Thin Mint Frosty’s. Starting Feb. 21, you can try out at our Local Wendy’s.

Board and Brush Katy Has Weekend Public Classes

Found this gem before knowing it was offered nearby! So we’ve all heard of Painting with a Twist— This is a similar concept but with wood. Board & Brush Creative Studio is a place for creating fun and unique wood decor projects from scratch. Home Depot is hosting their monthly Kids FREE workshop this Saturday (March 1st)

Good Vibes Farm is hosting an ‘Open Farm’ event this Sunday (March 2nd)

Sunday, March 2nd, from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm, Good Vibes Farm will open its gates to the public for one of its ‘Open Farm’ events, where you can come and meet some amazing animals. It’s $15 for kids and $5 for adults that accompany kids. Adults without kids are $15. You can pay with Cash, Venmo, or Zelle. It includes a guided tour and enjoying their free-ranging rescue animals. Hans Crawfish is Back for another great season!

We know everyone was hoping for a spectacular return and thankfully, they made it happen. Hans Crawfish earned notoriety for their awesome food and setup in Tomball, but due to some zoning issues, they were forced to relocate. Well, they have teamed up with The Barn at Frio and will be offering their tasty eats again this season.

Where:

When:

  • Thursdays: 5 pm -9 pm

  • Fridays: 5 pm -9 pm

  • Saturdays: 11 am - 9 pm

  • Sundays: 11 am - 9 pm

How much: They sell at affordable market prices typically between $8-$9 depending on the time of the season.
