Today is world bicycle day (yes, it’s a thing). And my two favorite places to ride is Deputy Darren Goforth Park off of Barker Cypress near Tuckerton. But if you’re near Bridgeland, Then Prairieland Village trails are huge and the sidewalks!? — No kidding can fit 3 strollers side-by-side.

Hurricane Season is Back

Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th each year. Peak season for us Texans are between August and September. But keep in mind last year Hurricane Beryl hit in early July. That being said there’s no better time to prep than now. [Here’s the Hurricane Guide for SE Texas.]

Summer Meal Sites

CyFair ISD released it’s schedule and sites for summer meals all at no cost. This program is for any child 18 or younger, no I.D. required but the meals must be eaten on site, no grab-and-go. [See the schedule and sites here].

  • Langham Creek YMCA also dropped their summer swim hours [Post is here!]
