Harris County Public Library (Finally) Promoted its Summer Reading Program
I am a huge fan of summer reading programs, its a no pressure way for kids to explore what they actually like to read. But my best tip for readersโ donโt keep reading if you donโt like the book. Seriously. Sunk cost fallacy is a thing. You think you have to finish itโ you donโt. Move on. I give credit for trying ๐

Graduation Traffic is the WORST
CFISD graduations are STILL being held for the next two days at the Berry Center. Donโt get me wrong, I am a proud Cypress resident and that includes being happy for all of our graduates. But as for traffic. This is one of my least favorite weeks of the year ๐
Keep in mind, Berry Center rests in the smack middle of an already congested Barker Cypress so if you need to plan an alternate route for after work today or Saturday, nowโs the time. You can read the full schedule of graduation ceremonies here but basically if youโre traveling down Barker Cypress today between 12pm- 8pm (or 9am-5pm on Sat.) โ allocate some extra time. (And woos-a your way through it.)
