In The News

A ‘Dry’ cold front is coming into parts of Texas. Even after some nice warm weather lately, winter is still not completely over yet. The National Weather Service says there will be a “dry cold front” coming in on Wednesday and holding through Thursday morning. Still not understanding the name reasoning, but they say that below freezing temps are expected up near the panhandle. You can read more here.

Good news for us is, it will only bring temps down into the high 40’s. But on a high note, Winter officially ends on March 20th (this Thursday)! Just in time for Easter!

Wednesday

• Pre-Walker playgroup: Wednesday at 10:30 am at Harris County Richard & Meg Weekley Park. Organized by Fit4Mom

• LSC-CyFair is hosting an interview workshop: 2pm to 4pm at Lone Star College in Cypress. You’ll practice interview technique skills, effective communication and interview questions.

Thursday

• Aesthetica MD Med Spa Spring Wellness Event: A Free Event hosted by Aesthetica MD Med Spa will feature raffle giveaways, a chance to meet the providers and info about their services. Starts at 5pm.

• Uptown Automotive will officially open Thursday. It’s located off 14800 Hempstead road.

• Frost Bank will host it’s Chuck Wagon Lunch. This is a Free Event from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. They will be serving BBQ brisket, beans, potato salad, peach cobbler and tea at the Jersey Village Financial Center.

• Rodeo Cookie Decorating Class: $55 pp Hosted by The Craft Chicks featured gifted &grace. This is a beginner class where you will decorate and take home four sugar cookies. The event is from 7pm to 8:30pm, you can register here.

Friday

• Cypress Methodist is hosting Kids Night out: $15 per child. ages 3 years old to 5th grade and must be potty trained. They will serve dinner with games and it’s from 6 to 9 pm.
