Whatβs New In Cypress π²
The Houston Texansβ New Practice Facility and Global HQ are Coming to Bridgeland
Moving forward, these are the types of articles I plan to bring to Cypress Digest Insider as exclusive, early access content. But donβt worry, today itβs still free π
Our main impact story of the community today is that the Houston Texans announced new headquarters and training facility slated in Bridgeland! I couldnβt believe it either, early last year and throughout 2025, talk regarding the franchise relocating or at least building an off-site facility so the team and staff could avoid the congestion that NRG brings.
Think about it, Disney on Ice, Expos, conventions, shows, and of course, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. That is a lot of traffic flowing in and out of NRG Park. The solution? Use NRG for one purpose: Gamedays. Made sense.
With all of these talks taking place, the idea of a suburban location was dropped, but nothing was ever solidified until now. They have confirmed an 83-acre project to house training facilities, headquarters, and (maybe) an entertainment section. More to come as more is released! Hereβs what we know so far.
